Djarot Wants Satpol PP Head to Focus on Maintaining Public Order

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, asked the new Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Head to focus on maintaining public order.

Principally, needs to improve the things that already went well before

"I asked Satpol PP Head to implement Regional Regulation (Perda) No.8/2007 about Public Order and enforce five codes of Order," he said after watched the handover event of Satpol PP Head position from Jupan Royter Tampubolon to Yani Wahyu Purwoko, Monday (7/17).

According to him, the new Satpol PP Head also needs to strengthen the coordination and communication with TNI and Police sides.

"Three element sides must be unified, especially when doing a job together on the field. Principally, needs to improve the things that already went well before," he explained.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Yani Wahyu Purwoko said, his side will do according to governor referrals and instructions.

"I will perform tasks assigned by Leader," he closed.
